Watercress Medical Mansfield Park Surgery Patient Participation Group
Mansfield Park Surgery has restarted its Patient Participation Group and we are on the search for new members.
The aim is to address local needs and support the practice in in putting the patient and improving healthcare at the heart of what it does.
The group consists of volunteer patients, the Deputy Practice Manager and possibly one or more of the GPs. It is open to any patient who is registered with the surgery and is a forum for discussion on how the practice operates and making suggestions for the future. The work is not onerous as the plan is to meet approximately 4 times a year. Members will find the work interesting as they will also receive information on how the practice compares to others in the area, as well as other information from the NHS
We are looking for new members from all ages and backgrounds. You don’t need any particular skill, or even be a regular user. We just need people with plain common sense and a desire to help others.
